Ryan Dalzell, Board Chair

Ryan joined the PHC board in 2018 and has been supporter of the ministry since 2016. He works with his brother and father at the Dalzell Group, a residential real estate and investment business in North County. Ryan is a member of North Coast Church at the Carlsbad campus, and he leads a small group Bible study.  Ryan and his wife Julie live in La Costa and they have 3 kids – one in college and the other two in high school at Tri-City Christian.  Ryan loves to play golf and he is a licensed pilot.

Joseph Marty, Vice Chairman

Joseph resides in Oceanside, CA. and he and his wife Leilani have been involved with Path Way Health Clinic for over 25 years, and he has been a board member since 2016. He and Leilani attend Calvary Chapel Oceanside.

After serving 46 years in healthcare, Joseph in 2020 accepted God’s “Reassignment” to, along with Leilani, serve in multiple ministries, including Pathway Heath Clinic, with the goal of furthering our Lord’s Kingdom agenda.

Andy Boyer, Board Treasurer

Andy resides in Carlsbad, CA, and has been involved with PHC since late 2013 and a board member since early 2014. He attends North Coast Calvary Chapel in Carlsbad and commenced his “rewirement” in 2019 allowing more time for Kingdom oriented work such as Pathway Health Clinic and other charitable organizations. He and his bride Carol are dedicated to two grown and married kids and three grandkids.

Brittany Troke, Board Secretary

Brittany began volunteering at PHC in March of 2013. She had the pleasure of serving on staff for a couple of years until she and her husband welcomed their first daughter. She has had the honor of serving on the Board since 2018. Brittany’s husband is a pilot in the Marine Corps. She strives to bloom wherever they are planted and is grateful to maintain roots in Southern California by continuing to serve virtually while they are stationed elsewhere. They now have four beautiful daughters, and Brittany has been blessed with the opportunity to homeschool them on this wild and wonderful adventure!

Roarke Shanley, Board Member

Roarke Shanley has had a life-long passion for protecting and providing for women facing unplanned pregnancies and the unborn. Roarke works as a District Representative in the California State Assembly. He resides in North County with his wife and two daughters

Scott Ashton, Board Member

Scott Ashton is originally from Massachusetts and has lived in Oceanside since 1996. He has worked at the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce in a variety of capacities since moving to Oceanside and currently serves as the Chamber’s CEO. He is a long-time follower of Jesus and helps lead a vibrant men’s fellowship to ensure that his Christian brothers have a place to connect and grow in their walk with Jesus. Scott is passionate about the work of Pathway Health Clinic and is grateful for the opportunity to have a voice in the strategic direction of the organization.

Judy Nelson, Board Member

Judy Nelson has lived in Encinitas since 1985, where she and her husband, John, raised their three children, who are now adults.  They attended North Coast Calvary Chapel together until John’s passing in 2017. Judy still attends NCCC and is involved with the Personal Prayer Ministry.  She has been involved with Pathway Health Clinic, formerly Pregnancy Resource, for many years.  She began working with the ministry as a receptionist/volunteer and became Secretary on the Board of Directors.  She currently has the pleasure of serving again on the Board.

Dr. Robert Detrich, Medical Director

Robert is an Obstetrics and Gynecology doctor who practiced medicine predominantly at Tri-City Hospital in Oceanside until retiring in 2004. He is a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Carlsbad and currently serves as president of the congregation and Lutheran school. He is also a member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
